Established in 2001, EMC International Equities (EIE) is EMC's founding fundamental equities business. EIE brings together the leading minds from across six primary investment sectors ranging from Consumer to Energy to Healthcare.

Within EIE, our Primary Strategies team supports corporate capital formation by investing in initial and follow-on issuances of stock.

Jeremy Luvel
Head of EMC International Equities

Jeremy Luvel is Head of EMC International Equities and is a member of EMC's Portfolio Committee. He joined the firm in 2019 as a Senior Managing Director and was subsequently appointed Head of EMC International Equities in 2020.

Prior to joining EMC, Mr. Luvel spent more than a decade at Point72 Asset Management, where he was a Portfolio Manager specializing in the Media, Internet, Telecom, and Services industries and was a member of the firm’s Risk Committee. Before that, he was a Managing Director within the Equity Derivatives Strategy team at Bear Stearns & Co.

Mr. Luvel is a member of the Endowment Committee at Trinity School in Manhattan. He is a CFA charterholder and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a dual bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science.
